Summer School Camp

Our plan is for Ledger to go back to school this year, in person learning again in the classroom for his 4th grade year. Distance learning went fairly well, but we think he needs to be back with his classmates in a structured learning environment. He's pumped about it, but a little nervous about it too. In order to help him make that transition, our town is offering 'summer camp' weeks at school this summer. That's not the main reason they are offering them, but that's what we are using them for! For five days they invited all the elementary school kids to come each morning and do fun activities and crafts. Perfect! Ledge went all week and one of the days we even invited a friend over afterwards to spend the afternoon at our place. The boys had a great time, and we even went to the movie theater! It was good for Ledger to have a little extra social time as he gets ready to go back to the classroom and start the school year right.
