One of little traditions that Diana and I do on the first day of school is celebrate our independence by going out for breakfast together! It's been a long time (too long) since we had a day together with the boy at school, so as you can see, we are thrilled! We've gone to a few different places for breakfast in the past, but this time we decided to go to Bunker Hill restaurant over in Dorr. The whole affair was calm and quiet- something we haven't had much of in a while. Ledger might not look forward to the first day of school, but we sure do! I don't think I can stress enough just how pumped we were that Ledger is back in school this year. Distance learning from home was pretty challenging. Not so much the school work itself, but the lack of structure and just being in the same space nonstop for a whole year. Going off to school is very good for our sanity- and his as well!
