i was so excited about the low gas price i got saturday that i had to take a picture! a buck seventy five? are you kidding me? awesome!but i recently watched an interview with an economist and he had a good point: he said that the gas companies are just toying with us. they raise the prices really high, and once we start talking about alternative fuels, they drop it down and we forget about finding another option. that way they keep the addiction going. it happened after the gas crisis in the 70's, and its happening again. not sure if i totally buy it, i mean the economy has be mostly responsible for the price drop, but its an interesting theory to say the least...
