With Moonlight Jack showing up, that means its time to go get some pumpkins! Every year for the past 5 years we have been getting our pumpkins from good ol' Gene the Pumpkin Man! It's a small pumpkin farm about a half hour south of us that's run by an old guy who absolutely loves pumpkins. Gene's got everything on the farm painted orange and even has some touristy things for us to enjoy while we are there. Ledger loves going there and so do we. It's become an important family tradition for us- we go one day a week or two before Halloween and we get two full size pumpkins for Ledger and a few small lil gourds for decorating inside the house. Ledge loves pulling the orange pumpkin cart as we hunt for the perfect ones!
