The big day is finally here: it's Christmas morning! Ledge came bounding into our room ready for the day to begin! Groggy, we got out of bed and came out to the living room. Ledger, for the first time, saw the big bounty of gifts and was thrilled! Before any gifts are opened, however, we have the family tradition of eating cinnamon rolls. We only have them one day a year, so it is quite a special treat. This year I didn't put icing on them and instead let Ledger have the icing packet and put it on himself. He liked that! Part of the reason for this tradition is that not only is it yummy, but it also makes the whole house smell so great. It's become the smell of Christmas for all of us.
