Every year Ledger's school invites dads to come for breakfast with their kids. It's called 'Dudes & Donuts', and I have been able to go with Ledger every year. At my job now I have to be there by 7am every day, so I made sure I let work know I would be in late so that I could go. We got there pretty early and grabbed the kind of donut we wanted, as well as a drink, and sat down at the table in the gym. We chatted for a bit and Ledger had a few friends come and sit with us. I got to meet some of the other dads as we all rolled our eyes at the boys being silly. Pretty soon it was time for school to start, so I headed off to work, thankful for a fun breakfast with my boy!
