along with ledger's birthday, this is also the week of our anniversary. its been 10 years! wow! we wanted to do a little something to celebrate, so we planned a few day trip. we wanted to go away but not too far, so we settled on st. louis for some reason. I had been there once before and enjoyed it and diana had never been. we dropped off ledger and her mom's place, and the two of us headed out for our own little adventure! its been a long time since we had a few days just for the two of us- a vacation to just enjoy each other and explore a new city.
we took our time driving down there, stopping at a couple places along the way, finding ourselves a really great mom and pop diner and checking out the touristy stops along the way. we booked ourselves a room south of the city. the first day we got there we checked in and settled in. the whole plan for this trip is just to take it easy. we weren't here to have a schedule filled with sight seeing, which is good cause there aren't that many sights to see in st. louis...
