Working On the Entry Way

The entry way from our garage into the house is unfinished. It's just some painted drywall, but edging and the finishing details were never completed. I decided I'd try my hand at getting it closer to done by getting some spackle and new light fixtures. Ledger was very intrigued by the spackle and wanted to help. The fact that it was pink fascinated him 'so we're just going to have pink spots on the wall?' he asked. I explained to him that it dries white, which just made him more confused...
I'm not very good at this house work stuff, so I don't have high hopes for this actually getting done, but its fun do try and get it closer!
