Let's make a pumpkin mess! Once we got back from picking out a couple pumpkins from the patch we washed them up and started carving. Ledger did more this year than he ever had in the past. Usually he just wants to draw the faces and let me do all the work. This time he got right in there with pulling out the guts, cleaning it out, and even cutting the features himself! He was super pumped as he did the first one, but seemed to lose interest on the second. Oh well. He drew the face he wanted on the other one and I took care of the rest. After we cleaned up the sloppy mess, we grabbed two lights and put them inside the jack-o-lanterns and set them out on the porch. It looks perfectly spooky!
