We have been, little by little, making our home look exactly how we want it. The last piece of the house that needed to be taken care of was the area under the tv. When We had the old tv we had to have the tv stand there, but since we've gotten the new one we now have it mounted on the wall. With no need for a tv stand, we improvised by putting an old end table there. It was always meant to be just a space filler with the goal of getting a much better piece of furniture when we were able. Well, I guess we are able now because we ordered a brand new console table to put there! This is one of the first new pieces of furniture we've ever gotten for ourselves, so we were pretty proud of ourselves, feeling very adultish. Now that we have a permanent solution, it was finally time to take care of the cords that were hanging down from the tv. I hid them in the wall and now it looks perfect! Diana has been wandering around the living room saying 'it just looks so nice in here!' all day...
