ere's the kinda weird thing about my coworkers: we kinda like each other! we have a pretty close knit group of about 10 guys who are actually friends outside of work. strange how that happens! as the team lead I try to maintain that friendly connection, it makes the days go by much faster, and encourages them to work together and help each other out so we can meet our work goals. one way that we build those bonds of friendship is by having periodic meet ups outside of work. some times we'll set up a dinner where me meet at a restaurant and spend the evening together, or we will pick a movie coming out that most of us want to see and make an event out of it. our last get together was to see the new Spiderman movie. we ended up having more than 15 people join in the fun! everyone in encouraged to bring their family and mingle afterwards. its always nice to get to know each other better and also see a fun movie!
